Jeanette Warwick

A local Ceramic Artist whose art works take inspiration from the beautiful Coral Sea and it’s surrounds.

Her artworks are usually adorned with coral motifs, hand built using mid-fire white clay body and glazed with a combination of hues to mimic the ever changing colours of the sea and the reef.

Each artwork is as unique as each natural coral form.

Typically each artwork takes many weeks to design, hand build, glaze and fire. Each artwork is fired twice during the making process, and each glaze finish is unique to each firing. No two works are ever exactly the same.

Jeanette started her Journey with Ceramics in the mid 1990’s. She has been a proud member of DAB since 2018. Jeanette has exhibited locally, at Cairns Regional Gallery and also in the California Bay Area.
