My practice seeks to create beauty and bring joy. My home, Port Douglas, insists upon me to be constantly inspired, especially by coastal landscapes.

The advent of drone photography has provided images that allow a less common perspective of the coastline and surrounding rainforest. This less predictable aspect also allows dramatic juxtaposition of the vibrant colours of the reef and rainforest. 

Oil, acrylic and water colour are mediums I use, but plein air oil painting is my ideal practice.
